DEAN’S BROCCOLI SALAD
1
can bamboo shoots, drained
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 can baby corn, drained
1 can of bean sprouts, drained (could use fresh)
1 head of broccoli cut into florets and pieces
1-2 sticks of celery sliced and diced thin
1 TBSP. of diced fresh ginger
a handful of sunflower seeds and
a handful of golden raisins
Dressing:
1/4 cup Marzetti's slaw dressing
1 TBSP. of sesame oil
1 TBSP of Braggs liquid aminos (this is just soy sauce
or tamari)
combine salad ingredients in a bowl. Combine dressing ingredients in a
separate and pour over salad; stir. Refrigerate. Let
sit for a few hours to let dressing marinate vegetables to soften.
More dressing can be added later for a creamier effect or less dressing for a
lighter effect; to taste.
